The importance of building a list
You have probably heard the expression, ‘the money is in the list’? Well if you haven’t yet, you have now. It is very true. The money is in the list. Not necessarily in the list of names and emails, that is what many people think. There are so many people online bragging about how huge their list is, 10k, 100k even 500k but unless that list has been build properly it is useless.
I could go and buy a list from a list broker, but it would be useless. I could say to everyone, I have a list of 100k but the problem is that list hasn’t been growing with me and my business. You need to educate your list to buy when you tell them to buy. Educate them so that they know when you recommend a product and say it is good it is good.
The best way to do this is to build a list of BUYERS. The reason this is so good is that they are people who have bought from you before. They know you and they trust you, they will therefore instantly go to whatever website you promote to them. Once you have a list of buyers the world is your oyster.
You can automate your lists so that you have different stages of list member. You can have the ‘freebie hunters’ the ones who just want to get your free information. They are not really worth too much to you. You then get the ones who buy from you and this is the important bit. From within your auto-responder you can automate this so that when they buy from you they are automatically moved from the freebie list to the buyers list.
Once you master this your business will go from strength to strength. I guarantee it.
